Dear Jzirah
Hey Julia how are you? I'm writing this letter to tell you what I did in the holidays. I did a lot of swimming; honestly I can't believe it is already over. On the first Sunday of the holidays it was Jolie’s birthday party we had it at the onekawa pools; she was turning nine I couldn't believe it ,she was growing up so fast! I remember when she was a little 5 year old girl she was so adorable; “right, back to the holidays”!
When we were at the pools it was so warm; it felt like a heater was on “ahh”. The first whiff I smelt was the chlorine. There were so many people I couldn't believe it. It was so loud, people were yelling everywhere. We found a table near the waterslide, the first pool we went in was the big cold pool to be honest it was quite warm. A few hours later we had lunch after that I thought I was going to blow up like a balloon. It was time to have cake; the flavour was chocolate with raspberry filling; “yummmm”.
On the last Sunday we went to Mt Ruapehu; me and my family decided it was time to have a holiday. When we got up there, we were so disappointed the ski field was closed I was so sad. We got up the mountain and we still were allowed to play in the snow; I made a humongous snowball and threw it to my dad. A few minutes later my hands got numb and we had to leave; my clothes were all soaked so I had to get changed. “BRUHHHHHH”!
I was so devastated that we weren't allowed to go on the skifield; oh well not everything goes as planed. I was so looking forward to going to Taupo on the way back; I asked my parents and they said yes. It was time to go back I was looking forward to going back to school and seeing my friends. These holidays were filled with lots of fun adventures , I hope you had a great holiday as well and had some fun.
Sincerely, Alison
