Kapa haka festival

On Monday 19th of September the kapa haka group performed at a festival at bay city. We performed for 15 mins and I felt so excited that the day had finally come and we rocked it. Our uniform were our school colours (yellow and blue).

What we have been doing:

Reciprocal reading, taking turns at clarifiying, summarising, predicting and questioning. We take one week to reading story. Here are some screenshots of our best work.

 

My next step: are to do more of the predicting as I hardly ever took part in this role.

Bored!

Bored

I felt like a very lazy sloth my body felt like everything around it was dull. I was lying on my bed wondering if anything would change, my house was filled with nothing to do. I really wanted to go on my iPod but I knew to go on it I would have to charge it. Then I was sitting up looking at my roof when suddenly I had a lightbulb moment but then when I realised the things I wanted to do was going to need me to buy them from the dollar store; I knew I was not going to get up to just go to the dollar store and there I was again lying on my bed having nothing to do but slouch.
