Inquiry

”A living thing consumes, grows, breathes, adapts to its environment and perishes.“
                                                                                                        Room8, 2015

This is my project that I worked on.
I did my research on a kiwi and I enjoyed it very much.

I worked on my project with my younger sister and she helped me with the collaging the title kiwi.
I took notes in a note book to help me remember the facts.

I got my information off Wikipedia.

I could improve my work by printing out my information to make it look more neat.

Outdoor education

WALT: sail on a optimist yacht

*preparing for optimist yachting

- putting the boom and sail on the yacht
- putting in the centre board
- putting on the rudder
- tying on the main sheet
I learnt how to......

Tie on the main sheet
Tie a figure eight knot
Put the sail and the boom on the optimist yacht

Emotions

Nervous,
Happy,
Excited,
Cold and puffed

What I learnt

Don't paddle with the rudder
Hold the rope tight for the sail to catch more wind

My favourite part was..

Capsizing because i liked when we tried to flip the yacht back over
